I'm not sure any of mine would qualify as awesome but I like them and I snapped all of them.

Also troy, look up the spruce goose and the 225, I think the goose was wider and a tad shorter.

Snow geese!  See them every year.  Air show 2 miles N of us as crow flies

Snow Geese??? Compared to T-Birds more like Snow Slugs!!  Party's over when they start the engines.

That looks like the bridge over the Missouri at Blair, Ne. But it's been a long time since I've been over it.

I saw a transport like that on mega transports, trailer had more wheels, and I think one truck towing, but the gist was the trailers were bolted together and the tolerances had to be so close for transport and turning, I’m not sure if they had to accommodate the walking beams or for road clearing but it had quite the crew towing this, very knowledgeable, I’ll see if I can find mega transports for more info.

They were towing it to a mine I believe, these things run 24/7/365. My kid did some time on them and felt like a king up there.

Safari in Zimbabwe. This reservoir was full of hippos. They run on the bottom and leave a bubble trail that comes from decaying vegetation. they would run right under the boat!

This job has had some great perquisites.

They took our helicopters, 2 Bell 212,s and a S61 N ,plus 40 tonnes of equipment  to Afghanistan in March 2010 in this bird, AN-225. It is absolutely huge . ("Molson Air " was our "official" title over there with permission from the beer company ). It was either to Bagram Air base or Jalalabad, cant remember. Some of the helicopter engineers rode over to there with them onboard.

The company who owns them is out of the Ukraine .They have only one  flying operationally. but not sure on that. There are a few more of the 4 engine models the AN -124. .Those would come into Mazar-El Sharif airport with all sorts of different cargo. We also saw some old  turbo prop AN 12,s  there as well.

It's not a joke, the Tutors are a magnificent little aerobatic jet and the Snowbirds put on a wonderful demonstration.  They don't have the speed and noise of the Thunderbirds/Blue Angels, but for the true aviation people the energy management the Snowbirds do is very impressive.  If they're a couple seconds late, they can't just make it up with the lever in their left hand.
