First one I tried to take I forgot the flash was on and the camera couldn’t focus. Good point. I like pictures of me running my pets. My current favorite is a J&L video of the Orange Spectacular tractor pull. Single best hook of my life in the 5000 lb. Farm Stock. You will notice dogs like rivers but do not like crossing swing bridges... All bovine creatures do not like bridges either...to get them to cross a bridge....thus keeping the greenies happy (no crap in the river etc...)...requires the copulatory adjective ,honed and polished to perfection....and even with this ability on side...as it were ..it is usually cattle 1....Stockmen nil... The seed drill is to wide for the farm bridges... ( incidentally,,,same bridge, top picture as Kattie's 'horse picture...) It is all good fun...lots of Canada geese in these parts...they like to fly over the water...especially when the Geese cull is on...and a raft of shotguns are pointing aloft.... Have a look at a 'Globe'' sometime...where we live is at the bottom of the world...almost...it beggars belief that we actually hang on to Mother Earth..... Mike 9 2 Quote

Where are you at? .......all the pictures I put on this topic, are from where I work...unless otherwise stated..... ...top of the South Island, New Zealand ,either the Rainbow Station ...or the adjacent, across the river, Raglan Station.. (same owner...) The Rainbow Station is 32 miles long....around 30, 000 acres, basically following the Wairau River, running from 800 ft above sea level to mountain ranges exceeding 7000 feet .....thus there is huge diversity and plenty of scope for the odd photo.... The high country is comprised of indigenous forest on the lower slopes...leading to open, tussock and scree , open tops..where the Red Deer and the Chamois live... There are many Stations of this ilk, running down the "spine " of the South Island of NZ...mostly of considerable more area than the Rainbow Station.... ...and that , Lorenzo, is our geography lesson for today...
