We will spend a little more than the used cart at the auction that needed some parts and tinkering also

A guy bought it for his grand kids to ride when they came to visit and they moved out of state so it was hardly used. We had it about 5 yrs and sold it for 750 - it rode well with the flex rear suspension on it too. - it was a 2 seater. - ours was like this one

bitty
Parts came today at lunchtime. We assembled the torque converter and tires are on the rims tonight. Have to get two sprockets and a jack shaft with bearings yet to reduce the speed because of the rear tire height

bitty
Slow going, haven't touched it in a while until today. Hopefully it will get done soon if I can stick to a few hours every few nights. Decided to add a rear swing arm suspended engine frame

We finished second cutting over a week ago, manure is spread to grow third if it rains any. I am mostly caught up with respraying corn. Biggest thing I need is to get ready to put a small shed up at home. I have to haul 15 more loads of shale to get the pad leveled up.

I am working on getting AC on my 706 - will divulge that when i see if it actually works, im fabricating and learning as I go and i dont want you guys to talk me out of what i am doing LOL I know some will call me an idiot but hey...........im trying to save a buck here

This coupled with wind in his face would cool him off .

searcyfarms
mines a diamond shaped hinson - i test fit a condensor in front of the radiator last night, too tight GRRRR it woudl fight but NO ROOM anywhere around it also not quite deep enough in front of radiator - back to drawing board...........on plan E at this point - trying to keep it under 500bucks its going to be a challenge but i shall succeed - no more 10 foot doors for teh 706 going to have to go to 12 found a sanden with dual stack pulley - might get that to use and stack the alternator but still pondering.......... searcyfarms
made it up/back to work on the 5088, clean out radiator/condensor - replaced the foam with a couple pieces of old carpet and wedged them in the hole in the bottom to block airflow from underneath instead of down through the top like its supposed to go. Have to get some rubber foam to go in there wont keep the carpet in it. Found the alternator is bad AGAIN, just had it rebuilt but our wiper motor shorted internally and we are thinking that might have made it fail prematurely. I also went thru the condenser with a popsickle stick and opened up all the bent fins and hoping that will fix things, if not potentially thinking of adding a couple small 12volt electric fans to move more air through it. Guy that worked on it last summer and put all the new stuff on is coming by this week to test pressures again after cleaning.

bitty
A 42' pump we bought new was getting thin and then we flipped it and ruined it trying to set it up again. We decided to reuse the driveline, pump and a few other things to remanufacture it. I am running an 8" schedule 40 steel pipe parallel to the driveline tube for additional weight for stability and rigidity. I will try to add pictures as I work on it
