are you going for the guiness record with the twine? are you going to make that cart dual engine or just one BIG one? going with a 5.9? everyone needs a 5.9, cmon george talk him into it - you are way more ambitious than I am, i saw a yerf dog here for 150 bucks last week, seats were rotted and the frame was broke at the rear pivot you could have had that running in short order - it was running and looked ok outside of those issues

Honda GX200 , gotta try to keep him from getting a Ducatti 900 cc engine really soon on this. He watches cars and cameras on youtube and they put a Ducatti on a cart and he loves that idea

We couldn't get the sprockets off the auger to install new bushings. I priced the sprockets  .......... and determined that I wanted to reassemble the sprockets after I cut them off the shaft ($3,000 some for them) . Front is ready to finish rewelding it once the bushings are here

Spreader or TMR Mixer?

I have a Knight 2400 side slinger that I have been unable to pull the sprocket from.

Cutting it from the shaft like this is going to be the next step.

8032 side slinger spreader. I will reweld the rear sprocket straight to the rear end of the auger if need be. Auger replacement will solve it in the future or complete replacement for the whole spreader. I will have to weld an inch at a time up front when reassembly to protect the plastic bushing I am replacing

besides pulling the rocks off the grass when the snow melts, it will work very well for smoothing out the garden after plowing and before planting. I use mine for both.

What are these rakes called? I'm dozing 1/2 acre of trees to make an orchard and plan on mowing it as well. I'd like to maybe find one to rent to clean up the sticks etc that will be left behind from the dozing/chain sawing/stump burying/brush burning.etc.

Thanks

I think this will catch me up on what I have done since last posting on here . PTO handles to convert any of ours to 66 series cab style. Lower A arms are done on the gocart. 21.5-16.1 junk tire I cut with a 3tpi sawzall for a tree swing and gave it to the neighbor . You use pallet forks and get it inside out and drill drain holes. Squeeze pump we had to cut apart to put bushings in and my cousin made me new stainless rollers and shaft .

This is what the tire swing looks like in a tree. I used a hole saw for water drainage reasons

Thanks for the update.  I like it. I was having a hard time picturing that before.
I have made a few tire swings for local kids, never thought to do one like that.   I use a good sized car/truck tire and just mount them horizontal with three or four eye bolts through one side wall, up to a central line, seats three or four kids.  Or motorcycle tires, oriented like a tire, one eye bolt through the top, for a one seater that takes more upper body activation to hold on.

When you turn it inside out it increases the width of the effective rear end capacity . Lol it will usually double the width between the bead surface of the tire . I saw one like this at my uncle's house years ago and I have had this one for my kids who are getting close to grown up by now

I wish I had taken photos. Down along the border south of Ft. Huachuca is a series of watering troughs made from large earthmoving tires. They had been split down the middle of the tread, laid down and the center filled with concrete with the fill pipe and float coming up thru the middle. Rust proof, bullet proof, only maintenance needed is the float valve. They'll be there a hundred years from now.

Bitty I am tired of waiting for you to finish my Go Cart.  This is pi__ing  me off.  I have a race schedule to meet and my Driver is also tired of waiting.  I can see it in his eyes that he has track fever bad.

Do I have to put him in another car for the season?  Look at all the sponsor money we are loosing?
