How many farm cats is too many?

We usually have a half dozen or so.  The population rises and falls depending on the season.  I don't find holes chewed in my feed sacks or have any mouse nests in any of the equipment so they are doing their job.  If they wander outside the barn the dog chases them back.

Have a 18# Maine coon and 2 Russian blues at the shop.

Have had up to 6 at one time.

Few customers complain cat prints on their cars. 

Tell them to get car detailed and send me a bill. 

Nobody has yet and lost a couple customers over it
