Hanging in here!  Better than you obviously. I hadn't realized you had gotten so banged up.  It is great to see you back on here.  I love the old logging photos!  Don't see logs that size now!  Now all we need is Sawmill to come back!

When dad was away he would get a bit nasty with it and flipped it on it's side one day, had to walk home and get the tractor to pull it back on the wheels, broke mirror off, big panel dent that popped back out and broken battery from coming out of the box and clipping the alternator was the extent of damage. He thought he was done for sure but managed to correct all but the mirror and blamed that one something else. They did build em tough...

...I've been very remiss  in not  having extensive email conversation  with   Brian...…..Still quite  pissed   off     in respect of a planned trip for this coming June.....a trip to see  Brian    Crunch again....a Brother and other friends.....had planned to take another daughter  with me...…...sigh

…..My old D6...logging native /AD7Fiat ..pulled a huge and long Rimu (native ) log.. (full length  tree ) down through the bush......got a bit carried away, Fiat dropped down a small bank...log took off and caught Fiat in the left Sprocket area...pushed the tractor for many yards....and actually broke the chain …….sigh  (only did that stunt once ….)/BTD8 well stuck....BTD6 and another  BTD8 on towing  duty...../ Three old pictures of logging native post war..in NZ's    wet West Coast  area.
