We now have our (almost) very first MFD tractor! We have been on the hunt for quite a few years now to find an MFD magnum and this ol girl hit all the criteria. I posted before about finding a loader

A little closer

Making some more progress with the 89. Ordered a bunch of new parts last week, most of them showed up. Got the throttle cable replaced, then tackled the blower fan assembly. That was kind of a pita. W

So how many hours you guys have into this so far?  Did you figure it was going to be as much work as it has been when you started or you had done this before with other tractors?

Its amazing what some paint and a lot of time will result in!

Damn good look'n tractor!

Guessing somewhere around 70-80 hours at this point. When we started, the tractor came in for a cab kit and lower seat cushion lol one thing led to another

We have never done anything like this. Maybe a few cub cadets...

There were other repairs that we wanted to do and removing certain panels helped facilitate the repairs. Got to a certain point and it's like, we just aswell.

Learned alot, some things we will do differently on the next tractor.

I take my hat off to you, I just have enough time to service my tractors.

Thanks! Without dad, this project would still be in beginning stages. There have been many way-too-late nights on this tractor, but every new thing learned, and even slight progress is rewarding. It's almost euphoric to picture running it in the field

Awesome job.

Thank you for taking along on your journey.

Got to admit I was on the edge of my seat watching Cinderella come out of the castle😄

Think I remember a ways back you had a pic of just how little clearance you had at the rear axles!

Bput a qtr inch on each side if the tractor is square centered in the door. Had to remove the door frame trim
