MTO’s got some big problems

Recommended Posts

He sent me this pic and asked me to post for him of a very large Fisher that was trapped near his house. Having difficulty getting a pic here from his new phone.

Those things are nasty, no fear in them from what I've seen. Around here if you see one it gets popped pretty quick

He will be along for comment I’m sure but he told me the trapper released it. 🤷🏻‍♂️  We don’t have them around home.

My beagles killed one once, wasn't pretty. A lot of blood from both hounds and fisher.

I had a couple different raccoons decide to come after me over the years. Didn’t end well for them. One of them piled up on the toe of my boot when he came to rest.

MTO hasn’t commented yet, if the trapper let that critter go, did MTO not make it out of the woods alive??????

He asked me to post it. He had a funeral to attend. I’m sure he will be along and would rather be on here than where he is in this case.

Wolverines and fishers are both members of the weasel family. The resort I stay at in Canada had a pair of fishers stay in the main lodge one winter. You should have seen the destruction, owner showed me the pics. They had like 100 lbs. of flour, The whole place was white. Jerry had just that year gotten a crappie tree. I had never heard it called that, it was like 7 crappies on a stringer, was very nice, They ATE it! There were bits and pieces left but it was trash. He left it up for a long time. Ah the memories.

Buried my buddy Bill yesterday, 90 min Catholic service with 7 hymns.

Our church had a service today for a deceased member.

7 of us prepped a meal for 100.

It was actually a lot of fun for us.

Everyone  came together and gelled

Back to the Fisher, he let it go because it is not in season yet and he wants to trap it legally so he can enter it in competition.

I only ever saw  one before and it was 16ish inches  long.

This thing was HUGE imo.

Hafta keep eye on my yorkie when he goes out.

And my half yote dog too!!!
