I started at Joe A Rhomberg and when Joe retired in 1981 the dealership changed to Red Country Imp .

There are some similarities to the stickers and then not.

Apparently you could order your dealer sticker through IH or wherever you wanted. 

Was anyone around to know?

I seen the box of stickers in the parts department but never knew where they came from.

The dealer in Garden City, SD had a TV antennae on his sticker as KDLO TV was on the edge of town.

Some were fancy and some were plain. WHY?

Can anybody tell me?

I took this picture of Becker's original dealerships building and the one with Bill about 10 years ago, Bill also showed me a picture circa 1940s when his Dad had it( I took a pic of the pic) The building is clad in orangish steel and just storage, We went inside and the original standup type desk was still there. If it was mine it would be restored and used as a showroom/museum

I was looking at one of my parts tractors today and remembered to take a pic of the dealer decal. This one was Neil Peart's Dad's dealership 👍

I have some NOS dealer stickers and cellophane window envelopes from Shafer Tractor (Ford) in Ottumwa.

the guy on the cover of this brochure I came to think of as a friend. He passed away a few years ago , Jim Nagle, he told me those pictures were taken on Van Sickles farm near Jerseyville. I saw video of it on a Youtube video from Britian awhile ago but I cannot find it now.I meant to send the link to his family

 He was an IH blockman then worked at Baxters until they closed then became an Allis blockman Barry Baxter became an auctioneer and on more than one occasion would have some fun at my expense to make a crowd chuckle ....because we were good 👍

IH's term for a Regional Sales Representative. Uncle was one of those out of the Broadview Transfer Depot in the 60's. The building covered at least 15 acres and featured an internal rail siding to allow the staging and transfer of whole goods around the country and the world. Proximity to  East Moline, Rock Island, Canton, Louisville, Libertyville, Ft Wayne, Indianapolis, Melrose Park played a huge role in operations. Admin was key but the building was a giant staging area for IH products from all around the Midwest.

I think there's a Super Target or whatever there now. Just not nearly as fun as it once was.
