There were at least three different locations over 50 some years I believe. I’ve found some ads but hoping to find pics. I actually did find out who the manager was for one of the IH dealerships, I’ll get in contact with him in the near future and I’m sure I’ll find some really great stuff!! 1 Quote

Hartley & Nicholl was a true all around IH dealership they carried about anything a person wanted. I can remember going into the old store to get parts and look around. They did do some work on my 806 when the guy before me owed it. They carried tools, garden seed by the bulk, and hardware. They was a hardware store along with the dealership. I think they even carried appliances. When they moved I think they went to big to make it. I remember more about the old shop then the new one. It sure changed since they moved . Their new store is now a doctor's office for kids. The museum here has a lot about they then what I posted. Trying to find some of their old decals and signs but hard to find. 1 Quote
TeachersPet1066 Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 Here are a few that I gathered today. Unfortunately two pieces had the blue yellow white but were unreadable. When I get time I hope to put in a Google Doc and organize all of your posts. 1 Quote
btred1466 Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Delaware Farmers Exchange, Delaware OH on my International 1466. Then named Buckeye Tractor & Implement, Inc. 1290 Highway 42 N Delaware OH Moyher & Schultz, Inc. Latrobe PA on My Neighbor's International 1086. Can't make out what is on decal from picture , I remember what it said when I was around the tractor. It looks like it says the Dealer Name, Town and State on the next line then Phone #. Does anybody on here know anything about these Dealers? Please share if anyone does. Link to Past IH Dealers http://www.ihdealerspast.net/ 2 Quote

The year we had our Red Iron Show in Milton I was chatting with an older guy I believe from Burlington in Chapter 20. He said he had some brand new decals and would bring them the next day. He was good to his word. I hope the old guy is still alive and kickin 3 Quote

DT Fan Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Found one! On the 1650. Looked at everything on the farm. Also found three off color, will save them for a different thread. Maybe not an IH dealer? 1 Quote
kal Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Here are a couple more and a picture about the closing of both dealers just days apart. Worked at the JD dealer when I was in high school and at the IH for 10 years after Seabee time. Last photo is for the date. 4 Quote
