Yes, it's a gear drive so it's a model that was never made a gold demo. I always wanted a gold but not in my budget being a young guy with 4 kids. I will paint the words repo under the hoods amd mark on the serial number repo, and also document it on red power so everyone knows it's a clone. I know alot of people get pissed about this and say it should never be done but I am building this to keep in my family and enjoy for years to come, and also there will be people around who will have a chance to see what they looked like who might never get to and learn about what they were. Even if I had a real gold demo I would sell it and make a clone, cant bring myself to have somthing worth that much when I could have the same thing worth less for what I will use it for.

Love It ūüėć!

Glad to see you’re gonna use an ice cream box cab! You never see them on any restoration projects! Uncle(s) had an 806 with that cab. We (my brother and I) would be given rides when they spread the afternoon load of poop! Always cherished those memories.

That will look great, OK now back up and take pic of the car it is sitting on--I know curiosity killed the cat but that is a tease.

At least your being honest and documenting that’s its not a real demo. I agree with what your saying to fix one up to show what Gold Demo’s were for.

It will look nice I’m sure, I do like the 1/16 model. Did you do any custom touches on it?

I got a cab off of ebay from a 1256 model, still would like to make a rock box for it. I'm not as good at making little things as long farms, I like making things with big flippin hammers welders and 3/4in sockets not tweezers

Ive done a few custom things with 1/64 scale but I wish I had half the talent that Brain has with that kind of stuff.

It would cost me so much to make replicas of my tractors that I wouldn't be able to finnish my tractors, inwood rather spend 700 to 1000 on a quick hitch than a toy

Had to throw on some weights , my youngest always brakes toy tractors cause he plays so ruff and he has a parts pile just like mine, he plays with the broken parts as much as the good toys20200107_153152.thumb.jpg.b46dfa61ea24aa31ff195bcf03428e90.jpg

This is the 544 that I got at RPRU this summer.  Very nice of the vendor to make a 544 gear drive into a wide front.  That’s why the box is a hydro box.
