Only way it could be better is if it was the FWA version, 3594. Love my baby brother to it 3394.

Is that what the difference between the 2_94s and the 3_94s was?  I have always wondered.

20/2294 could be FWA, 23/2594 just 2wd. 32/33/3594 only FWA which is full time 4. No selectable 2/4

You’ll like it was told by old case mechanic he never saw a 2590 under 225  they are a horse good turbo and it will make 275 all day

What's a good turbo to put on? I dont know If I would want to see much more hp out of those motors. The 4690/94 seemed to all be rebuilt around 5000 hours whereas the 4490/94 about 30hp less seem to make it to about 7000. We got to 9000 and gotta tear it apart this winter

3294 was kinda odd duck too, had 2294 rear housing & if I remember correctly, no actually park gear like others had. Used a park brake like 4wds. Don’t think there was ever a red 32 & they were not available with 6 speed powershift like the 23,33,25 & 35s

Yes I've only seen a couple 3294's. Not very many around. Pretty much a 2294 but full time FWA. Only white and 3 spd yes. Didn't know about the park brake

Same here too, only ever saw 2 thru dealer where I worked in 6 years.  The 6 speed 94s were pretty decent units when they came out. Lots sold in summer of 87 during the fire sale.

My Dad said that the Case power shift wasn’t all that bad once they had the 6 speed, the 3 speed had too much space between the gears and wasn’t smooth enough transition he said

I think our 4494 is running about 230 with the stock T04 on it. Had to replace the turbo last year and just stuck with it. No complaint. Never runs hot. More power than traction but were only running singles on it for spraying and combining. It lugs alot better than the 466 imo. Alot of guys crank the fuel screw and run them about 250 hp but they smoke non stop lol

Are the 25/3594 intercooled like the 4694? 4690/94 is stock 260 hp I believe and like I said, they needed a rebuild much sooner than the 4490/94

None of the small tractors are intercooled.

The 3294 is one odd duck. Its actually the 20/2294 rear end with the FWA axle,  but has the 25xx motor. My though is case wanted to have a high HP 2 or 4 wheel tractor and discovered it didnt work that good.

The 3x94 are just like stated,  full time 4 wheel drive version of the 2x94 tractors. Advertised as the "All Traction tractor"

Only the large frame 23-2594 and 33-3594 has the optional 6 speed powershift. I've seen a few with the 3 speed.

All 18,20,2294 tractors are 3 speed powershift. They could also be ordered with the FWA axle that could be disengaged.

I just happened to see this at the local dealer. A customer tractor.

According to tractor data they were only built in 84 & 85. That one might have been painted. Dealership where I worked painted a 4994 same way.
