What is the best way to fish this bearing race outta this hole on a 1066 pinion shaft? Thank you!

I have stuffed a wet rag in the spider gear and around the seal then run a bead of weld around the bearing race and it shrinks it and it will come out easy with a couple of pry bars

+3 on the welder...............I got some anti-spatter shield in a can here I spray on things around it, and cover what I can before laying in a bead.

I've heated the castings before and sprayed an inverted can of freon on the race so you get a double effect that's worked for me on blind hole bearing races if that doesn't do it then I go with a welder trick

I weld the race as well.  Come out easy.

Dangerous, but I didn't want slag anywhere near my parts inside there, besides that, I don't think my welder would have reached anyway where I had to do it outside. I waited until it was a breezy night and froze it out with liquid propane, went around it for about 30 seconds then popped it out carefully and easy with a lady slipper bar.
