Since the joke thread is gone here’s something to chuckle at

These are the conversations that go on over on the Saab site🤣

I like my girls like I like my convertibles. 18 years old.”

Me too, but I seem to end up with women are like old Starbucks coffee: cold, bitter, and best thrown out“

I think that may apply to me. And the strange stuff I post is only a fraction of the weirdness that goes on in my head 😳😳😳😬😬😬

Vintage cars are much like mature women.
They require a lot of tender loving care,
and putty and paint

IMG_3258.thumb.JPG.a29a70ff8d96e315db8b61f696ad12c6.JPGA customer brought in their own mirror for their car. I got a laugh out of the box. Wish they would have kept making great auto parts!

You can still read the joke thread, just not add to it.

Probably best to bookmark it if you're like me and had only just started at Page 1.  That ought to save you having to find it in past pages

I'd have fixed you up with another one if I'd known you needed one. There's an owners rally in CT next weekend, I'm thinking about going

I am down to one, and my wife won't let me have anymore..........looking for another early 90's 900.

Jonesy who posts here some always called mine "Slobs"..........I love them though.  When they were calling for large hail here, I pulled my wife's 335i out of the garage and put my '07 9-3 in.........she asked me why I did that, I told her she can still buy another new BMW, while I will never be able to buy another new Slob!

I've always heard those 900 something turbos were cheap speed.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call the cheap, for perspective, my 99’ 9-3 SE H.O.T. Convertible in Monte Carlo yellow with matched body trim 1 of 8. Had a window sticker north of 43k when it was new, no idea what it ACTUALLY sold for,  but in 99’ that was a lot of pesos.

Apparently the”matched body trim”refers to mirrors and spoiler.

That is a beautiful well preserved car. It's just I've seen older 900 turbo drop tops for next to nothing. I think the worst case of depreciation I've ever seen was a '85 Mercedes 500 SEC. $50,000.00 in '85. Somewhere in the early 2000's and acquaintance of mine bought one you could eat off of with 17,000 miles for less than 10,000.00.

Saab enthusiasts are an eccentric group, enthusiasts of a defunct tractor company must surely be kinda eccentric as well

Went on a ski trip one time, I took my 76 Blazer and another guy took his SAAB. He charged his passengers for all the gas, an oil change and a percentage of the tire wear. I just made my guys buy all the beer. I think his passengers got off cheaper. 😋😂🤣

Lol I really didn't mean that in a bad way, this part of the country they're pretty rare and the ones that had them never had any luck with them
