Our local AC/NH/NI dealer sold a bunch of Allis unloading wagons on NH gears with used 16" airplane tires on the rims. I don't recall the number of plies (12+?), but the rare flat, the tires went somewhere that could dismount them from the drop center rims. We never changed them ourselves. I still use a couple of the rims that I cut the old scab tires off with a sawzall.

Tonyinca
10/20/20 Baler therapy Tuesday this week. John and I worked on auger prep . we thought bushings looks good but come to find out they are spinning on housing instead of shaft . we cut into donor auger to really learn how auger operates from inside. The books don’t show happenings inside auger . so , back to machine shop for four new bushings to fit tight in housings and fit properly on shaft . Also will have four brass washers made to buffer between hubs etc. hope we don’t have to repaint , I got ahead of myself ! Lol tony few pic’s

Yes , Been working on Her off and on last several years . He originally had the old 350 dash board welded to the propane tank shield . Well first time I took her to a parade something shorted up there and I am trying to Fix it with sparks flying and I said enough of this ! Lol . So ,I built new post and a new dash board and re wired it , all is good now except I need to paint it . this thing purrs like a kitten everything works well but it need a little TLC yet I am trying to leave it as original as possible as it came from feed lot. had to make a new bucket , the original was pretty well used , abused , and old . ill get you a better pic of dash board . tony

I decided to powder coat the entire pick up , thought it would hold up better and help David out . the paint is Valspar automotive Poly urethane . I’ll look to see a number next time I go to David’s my wife has been very cooperative , she says she likes looking out kitchen window and seeing me in shop and is amazed with all the white Farmer pick ups That show up on Wednesdays lol. she does remind me of how much money I spend However! those were old cracks and welds probably would of been fine for the work she’ll be doing , but they bugged me everytime I saw them and I kept thinking one day while loading they will decide to break and I still have projects to finish , Do not want to die on that hill ! Lol this thing actually handle very well when I have demonstrated it at shows loading dirt . the old timer that put her together had some good engineering skill and lot of patients making things Tony

twostepn2001
Tony, you may have covered this before, but does the loader tractor have only one "reverse" (loader direction) or does it have a reverse transmission set up like a cotton picker tractor would? Mudfly
How difficult is that tractor to get on? Assuming you would step on the bucket when on the ground and then climb up to the seat. Or do you climb up from the back by the engine and walk forward to the operators platform? I think this would be a relatively cheap way to make an awesome round bale mover. I think you can get a 300, 350, 400, 450 in decent shape with a loader for $2500 or less and then maybe a winter of work.

Very easy to climb up . step under loader from near single wheel then a screen ramp to deck . it’s very secure and comfortable to use . note pic. tony
