Didn't know that any were no till.  Don't think there were any difference from the IH to CASEIH.

well so far found quite a difference......$1k -$11K different production years 10 years apart so they are different

make sure you get all the gear sets  soybean no till conversion was offered for IH but not recommended

still checking on the CIH which is the cleanest from photos  (6 hour trip)

looks like a pass

If it's a double disk it may work for no-till depending on how your ground is. Single disk not going to be able to make it work

CIH yes a double but no weights or pre openers as the IH ,other wise good condition and $$ but not what we need

You want double disk openers with the press wheel gauge wheel.  Seeders were optional as well as a soybean slow down kit for the seed meters.  There soybean special drills had the entire hopper for seed, the regular version had fertilizer hopper.  Any other questions just ask.

The 5100 is not a no till drill but I think aftermarket companies made no till caddies for it. Thx-Ace

there seems to be about 4 versions + 6-7 options + IH  vs CIH

1st I saw was $8K and had no till openers  then other CIH were $5-7K assumed had to be a reason for $$$$

so  I find a non fertilizer soy bean special + grass in excellent condition for  good price,  requested  more info but seller confirmed std end wheel

Is the main hopper divided in half and are there fertilizer meters in the bottom?

Not a no till drill by any measure .

Mines a 21-7

16 feet wide , end wheel drills are a pain to

move .

It does a good job in worked ground .

Not divided in half, exactly, the partition can turned around to change the capacity of the fertilizer and seed hoppers.

Then it's not a soybean special.

Well , we ordered a Soybean Special, it says  Soybean Special on the decal,  there's a soybean sowing chart for slow-speed sprockets, view cups,  wind shields, depth control press wheels ,and the manual has the addendum describing Soybean Special attachments.

Does your manual state that a soybean special includes fertilizer hoppers?
