Some make take offense to this because she isn't singin in Eing-Lish.

LR has stated that growing as as an American whose Mexican family came to America that peeps "sang in Spanish and spoke in English".

A voice of all-time that never will be equaled, in no matter the language.

Interestingly enough and relative to this forum, did you know that Linda Ronstadt's family ran a large IH dealership in Arizona?  Suzy Bogguss's dad was a machinist with IH, and more widely known, Neil Peart worked with his dad as a partsman at an IH dealership before joining RUSH and Paul Wallem's (Author of the Breakup) daughter is married to Melissa Etheridge.  There are other IH / famous musician connections, but those are off the top of my head....  Oh, and Zac Brown is a SCOUT fan....

I really like Chris Stapleton. A rare decent musician in Nashville.

He's from the eastern part of the state, i could of seen him dozens of times before he made it big but at the time the only station that played him here was classic rock and to me he sounded a whole lot like eric clapton. It was a decent song but i never really paid him no mind until he started getting bigger

Saw them live a few years ago in down town St Louis. They were with a bunch of other Texas bands like Randy Rogers, and Casey Donahew. Pretty good show.

Gary Brooker always had it - a great, very distinctive voice, and a heck of a keyboard / piano player / front man.

Here he is a long time ago:

I saw snake"s comments about fav drummers in the Eddie thread. I didn't want to post in a RIP thread

I understand April Wine never reached the success in the USA that they did in Canada. Most Boomers have seen them 1 ,2 .3 or more times.I lost count for myself . they toured endlessly here  and worked their butts off. Masters of the rock ballad but the rest of their shows were hard rock. their drummer was IMHO only second to Neil Peart but he  didn't  receive the recognition he deserved

the solo I posted is at 64 years of age- 8 minute solo? what a great biker look! on Jerry Mercer
