Sask466 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 This is a local/regional song. The fellows name is Les Pavelick - His stage name was Metro. He made parody songs based on old country songs, with an agricultural/Eastern European-Canadian twist, with a dash of Polka. The song is based on “Big John”. His stuff is getting harder to find - the YouTube video has the song, but the content is irrelevant. Here is his old album cover - Cockshutt was a canadian brand - I think they were affiliated somehow with Oliver. Quote
