Tmtbob
First one is a new heifers calf she had before a freezing rain. Luckily we got them in the barn right before it started. Third one is of them starting their ambush for cubes. That British white was my wife's Valentine's Day present a few years ago and her last calf looked identical to her out of my black angus bull and the last is the calves stealing off the back of my pickup I added another. that last close up calf is our miracle calf. His momma was the first one born on my home place from that herd and we kept her but never could get a calf from her. She was gonna go to the sale and should of already been gone but she decided to give us a calf and earn her keep for another year

ihrondiesel
Love the cattle pictures! When I was in my teens and twenties I wanted to drive truck, but was in school and working for my FIL on the dairy. When I was in my thirties I wanted to farm 2,000 acres of corn and soybeans and feed 10,000 head of cattle. Now I’m in my forties and would like nothing better than ranching cattle. But now I’m driving truck! Maybe by the time I’m in my sixties I’ll be ranching? ?? 1
IHhogfarmer
First photo is of our 4-H hogs trying to be friendly with a couple heifers in the pasture. And no we do not keep hogs in the pasture Second is of the same two heifers in the pasture. Last summer was the first time that we got to irrigate our pasture and this pic was taken in about September and the grass was still really nice
rrr4quality
I have a lot of cow pictures! I use my phone and take pictures so I can go back later and see when a calf was born, when the bull arrived, when I let them out to pasture, etc. of course I love the cows also and they pose for some good pictures!

Qc.Can.IH man
I’m really surprised nobody posted anything about Holsteins, well maybe I’ll be the first! Let me tell you how much I love the Holstein breed… N0T!!! I’ve been around Holsteins all my life, put in 40 years of milking them! When I turned 50 I decided I had enough after milking them every day! I still have morning chores to do and every second or third day I clean and bed the pens for the heifers and dry cows. Some of the stupid things I’ve seen them do boggles the mind! My latest endeavour was of a dry cow somehow or another got lying on her side against the wall of the barn on top of the pile of snow that slide off the roof and stuck her head through the gate, at first I tried to push her head back through the gate but she was being stubborn and fought with me the whole time, then I decided to get a 2 x 4 to maybe try and pry her head out but that didn’t work either! Then I thought I could get the skid steer and just nudge her head back through with the bucket, that worked like a charm! I backed up the skid steer and before I could get out she had her head stuck back in the gate, so I tried to push her head back through again but she was being stupid and un cooperative, so I decided to unlatch the gate and use the skid steer to pull the gate off her head which worked like a charm also, then I had to use the skid steer to push on her a little to get her to slide off the pile of snow then she was able to get up. I have a picture which I took with my flip phone that will give you an idea, it’s not a very good picture! And not to mention I had to be somewhere and this made me late! ? 3

I'm afraid it's not only Hosteins that have those moments. Here is a 2 yo Angus bull. I had to cut the leg on the caker with a hacksaw to get him out. 1
