She was a pretty special pup that’s for sure. This guy seems to be settling in well though. Cats not sure what to think of him yet but they’re doing surprisingly well together. Our cat is a stray that is terrified of everything and as I type the cat is in the chair sleeping and the new puppy is laying right underneath him lol. Dogs n cats😄 Cash does pretty well until it gets dark. Then it's time for them to go outside. He will get by me and not let one get close to me😂 Oh, don't ask about the goofy cat sleeping on its back. I have no answer🤪 And I guess this means sand cherries are ripe. At least the coyote who left me this present in a gate thinks so🤣 6
stronger800
Well this furry thread just went to sh*t. I had no idea they’d eat cherries. Or anything like that actually. 1

Chocolate lab that’s around 16 weeks old now. Could be trouble time will tell I guess lol. He’s had a big day so he’s resting comfortably in the house now. Came all the way from lethbridge the begening of the week so he’s had quite the week of traveling lol. Might be a keeper, another one that just showed up 😁

ray54
Coyotes eat grapes from the vineyards here, and "sign" can be several miles from any vineyard. So with hundreds of acres and being available to coyotes almost 3 months of the year, I don't take the experts to seriously about how grapes will kill your dog.

Lazy WP
Lisa and the dogs spend quite a bit of time at the pond. Dolly, the one with the frisbee, is a 5 year old purebred Hangin Tree. Dude, is 13. Half Border Collie, 1/4 Blue Heeler, 1/4 Hangin Tree. He is a 8 year survivor of Canine Disotonomia. 99% fatal which affects everything that is automatic in a dog. Their eyes, tears, anal glands. You name it. He is probably upwards of 60 pounds now, at his sickest, he was down to 35. Lisa couldn’t get him to eat anything, and we took him into Butler’s in Valentine, 3 times to have him put down. Dr Janet wouldn’t give up on him, and would spend her entire weekend getting him to eat. He literally lived on strawberry Poptarts. That was the only thing he would eat for months. 9

Only thing I ever had problems with him on were my sheep. Neither him nor Janet wanted anything to do with them. Ended up with a vet in Chadron. We could have turned the Bighorn die off in the Wildcats around had Game and Parks listened to what we found. 😢
