I realise you were just being a bit droll , re your comment... Mike 1

Twolines
Thanks Wes. Ours were 8 and 10 lbs at 8 weeks. The mom was maybe 25 lbs and dad was 35. Im wondering how big they will get...they are supposed to be minis. I dont mind at all if they are larger but was hoping theyd stay knee biter size. stronger800
Mine too. Even with the $53 they charged me to ship a complete set of rotors and pads last week (just regular shipping), they were still over $150cheaper than the -exact same- brand parts sourced locally.

My shipping is usually a number like that because of coming to Canada, have never got rotors from them, the shipping is always crazy high because of the weight I assume, with my garage price they end up being cheaper locally, if you were paying retail or even around 20% off of retail locally Rock Auto would probably be less with the shipping Rock Auto really shines with me for front end parts, can rebuild an entire front end in an old car for a few hundred in parts vs 1000-1500 locally, can usually do the whole job with labour for less than the cost of parts locally
stronger800
I get a good discount at our local Napa, and I’ve got a garage buddy that gets a Better discount, and even he has started buying stuff from RockAuto, when it’s not something he needs right now, and the price is a fair amount better. I agree, I buy Moog steering parts, soooo much cheaper online. Don’t get me wrong. I like to support the local guy, but really, those guys have about all retired…..and the guys behind the counter now couldn’t care less. I’ve still got a Timken unit hub bearing box on my bench now from a repair last year. I want to say it was $88 or $98 cheaper than what they wanted in town. Drum or E Brake hardware, caliper bracket hardware, that small stuff seems to cost penny’s on the dollar online.
stronger800
I’ve got a “frugal” neighbor that researches parts to buy the -absolute- cheapest parts he can get. I’ve seen the guy buy $8 rotors for a dodge caravan. ($8. And $12 pads), do both ends of a small suv or van for $50, and he’s done his F150 for $100. Really. Not within the last 12-16 months, but fairly recently. and he’s had great luck with all of it. Given, I know another guy that bought $10 rotors for a dodge stratus….locked up the brakes one morning, and a front rotor exploded. He removed the wheel, knocked out the chunks, taped a piece of wood in the caliper, continued on to work. No big chunks. It went right to pieces.
