Good looking dog What breed?

Border collie,   Dad is a pure bread but mom has a wee bit of blue healer somewhere down the line so Emma got the blue healer attitude and short hair.   Smartest dog i have ever had, obsessed with frisbee, goes with me 24/7.

We had a chocolate lab that would do that on a brown leather couch, if she didn’t like the prospect of the day’s holdings she would lay still with her eyes closed “pretending” to be deaf. You could walk by her 6 times and not see her.

I have had two Border Collies both were great and totally different.

One was a crazy goose chaser dog from a golf course

That they had to place him because he would chase the women joggers.

Bill was his name he did back flips, chased coyotes, and was non stop with the ball, very protective would go after dogs 3 times his size if they came on our property.

Roscoe was the second we got him as a pup wasn't quite as obsesed with the toys,  followed me every where, very athletic he would run in front of me on the mountain bike.

Poor guy had a spinal embolism was paralyzed in the rear  and taught him self to walk and run again by bunny hopping with the back legs.

Although technically not your typical "dog thread" candidate.......

This guy ran/ trotted/ loped/ stopped to look back/ made every turn for about a mile in front of the feed tractor this morning on the way home from the cows.

When I turned right to go up my lane, he turned left and headed up river.

Dog days in February ?

So dog and I had been on lockdown most of the day working on taxes. I was ready for a break and evidently he was exhausted from destroying evidence 😀

Sunny and 46 degrees

My black and tan used to do that when we rode in the truck. I still miss him 15 years later.

Would love to see pics of him if you have any.

Pancho was the coon huntinist sonofagun I have ever had.

Miss him greatly.

This was Jasper. He was in a group of 8 wild puppies I found down at my other place when I first bought it. He had the same hunting instinct as your dog. I had to physically remove him from the tree once something was chased up in it. I could go on and on about what a great dog he was. He topped out at 120lbs but was as graceful and fluid a mover as I've ever seen. He also never showed the slightest aggression toward any person. He saved all that for the farm varmints.
