The little guy with both casts looks just like our little Chichauia mix.  He has the same timid look when he wants to be friends with a new or strange dog.  The bones in their legs are very dainty and easily broken.  Ours has one leg amputated and the other has pins to repair broken bones.

Yep. Many said I was loco for putting $1600 into my 15 yr old yorkie.

My reply?

Wasn`t a dime out of your pocket.

When your wife is sobbing on your shoulder because her little boy has broken his only leg, you shell out $1,300. for doggie surgery.  ?

It's only money. I just spent $500 on a 17 year old cat. Vetrinerys are expensive. He may get six months or several years but he's still trying so I do too.

Apologies  to the "hound " lovers here...but "Fred, "    the cat who owns me, although he can never ever take the place of "Jed "  our beloved Huntaway..(pictured   early on this topic....)...who died  a few months ago.......Fred just loves  sitting/sleeping on me when ever/however he can........leaving vast quantities of  fur on the clothes.....

My freeloader former stray kitten does the same thing. Only she prefers to do it when she can see I'm reading something!

Our psycho chocolate lab ate in one gulp a super ball the other night.. I told George that he will have to keep an eye out for it in the yard in a few days
