She is a sweetheart for sure. I like how she is watching you in that last pic just waiting for a cue. My border collie Cash does that, their mind is always on?

That's what my Jack is too. Smartest dog I've ever had around here. I'd like to know how big she gets. Jack is 4-5" taller than my cousins two border collies and weighs 100#. He is a "little" heavy but he look good at 80-85#.

Had a pure aussie that the vet said to keep him close to 70 pounds. Said it is hard on their joints carrying the extra weight.. He was a little tall for the breed, I could scratch his head without bending over very far. I am 5'8".

If you get the comic strip "Zits" in your paper, you probably saw this------if you didn't see it, enjoy.

I just got a border collie from the Humane Society in January, so I almost fell out of my chair.

(They even got the facial expression right!)

I had a male black lab mix give to me and a very well bred, high $ female Irish Setter that the rich family in town couldn't control, give to me. Well they got together and.............

I kept two of the males, Pancho and Lefty. Their dog house was the base of a hollow tree in the backyard I opened up with a chainsaw.

They were both good hunting dogs. Lefty didn't make it past a year (coyotes?, ahole neighbor?) But Pancho (the bigger of the two) did. He was very laid back around people and would let little kids crawl all over him.

His main love was hunting coons and he was very good at it. He would back a big ol boar up to a tree then lay down and wait. When the coon turned and tried to climb, Panch would run up and grab him by the back of the neck and end him. He was 100# fighting weight and was never bested. Coming home at night he would sit with his front feet on the floor so he could see out the windshield and if he saw eyes in a tree, I had to stop and let him out and we would have to get him his coon.  He was "the" alpha male and his low guttural growl stopped most male dogs from starting a fight. He was the reason I got my first Super Cab pickup ($3000 dog house)? Also, when I would stop by Chambers Corner Bar and order 4 hamburgers to go, the little girl making them didn't know 2 were for me and 2 for Panch?. She always wondered how a skinny little kid like me could eat 4 hamburgers?

Ha! Past hailstorm scared Keaton, my coyote/husky, and he dug out a huge hole under my bush hog to hide.

Wife called him to come into house without knowing.

I spent an hour and a half cleaning up kitchen when I got home.

She was NOT happy with me!
