X2  loved my '75 freightliner CO other than the lousy heater. Go to bed warm wake up cold. Learned to put a piece of cardboard over the radiator about an hour and a half before I stopped for the night.

I did to but I’m in and out 35-40 times a day now and 33 years in one adds up.

YA, I run a lot of local & city back then. It was nice to get a conventional.

Tho the white was much easier to get in than that 352 Pete.

It would be fun to drive for the first hour.....

it is fun to drive for the rest of the hours also!  You can just stay in the left lane when you hit a hill

I will admit the only 2 cab overs Ive driven were this one & his other one...1981 KW100.  Both were trips to MI and back.

Here is our cabover.  1974 Pete with a 435 hp 8V92.  We bought it 10 years ago just for hauling water and hay.  Haven’t used it for a while.  Needs new brakes, air lines, and a few other things.  This is the only cabover I have run.  That being said I cannot understand all the love for cabovers.  I get it that they might be alright in certain situations but for farm work, I’m glad we only have this one.  I think most people have my opinion because you just don’t see them anymore at least around here.  In fact I’ve seen more pictures of cabovers in this thread then I saw actual cabovers last fall when I spent 2 1/2 weeks trucking durum 120 miles one way up and down the interstate and in town.

That style Pete was one of the worst to get in & out of. It also was a cramped area around the driver, had to bounce the shift lever off the dog coop.

I run a 352 for about a year, went back to the good old Autocar.

I'll take your word for it but I have never been around a cabover that wasn't hard to get in and out of and didn't seem like it was cramped.

An owner operator leased on with that company with a mid to late 1960's KW tilt cab, 6-71 Detroit & 10 speed. Slow, noisey, can't understand how the owner or drivers made any money.

67 with 3408.....this is super sharp

Square doors and round headlights are the dead giveaway for the old model 352 and 352H

Then in 1981 came the 362 and later refined to the 362E and was even available in tandem steer.

I think the cab over for Pete ended with a weird looking 372 available up until 1993

I don't think this one (pictured) was a 352H model unless its missing the extra step and hand rail.

Must be just a standard 352.
