Even if it isn't ROPS certified, I doubt he's planning on rolling the tractor over. 

Yes, there is the slim possibility that even if he operates it as carefully as he possibly can, it could still catch him by surprise and roll over, but there's this thing called acceptable risk...

The paint's going on. Can't wait to see what it looks like all finished up.

Sure you had a QT-1 and not the other yearround cab model ?  Don't know what the other models name/number was but I have 1 of each.  Dad bought the QT-1 new and rollover protection was a big selling point .

yes I am sure it was a QT-1 and I know of at least 2 other that I grew up with and ran for several years and they we not ROPS certified
