Very popular song with the crowd I hang around with. As is pretty much all 80/90's country. And I'd consider us all young bucks lol

Thanks for posting 👍

I always have Prime Country or Willie's Roadhouse on in my truck or garage. It's the music I was raised with. Old country to the 80s/90s. Some early 2000s is good depending on the singer

I am 14, and believe it or not, I had this song as my ringtone for a while. I replaced it recently with “Rodeo” by Garth Brooks. Love this kind of music.

That’s a classic. It probably has special meaning to you Mark since you are “the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench” and all 😉

Another good one by Sammy Kershaw is "She don't know she's beautiful". In my pickup I play cd albums from later 80's-early 90's but my favorite is George Strait Greatest hits volume ll from 1987. And yes I am 17 and love this kind of music! Just sayin

Guys , I play this for my bride every DATE NITE ! !

       You see ,I married a " City girl " and I mean" CITY "

First thing after marrying Carol we lived in town for two years , So, I was going insane,  Brought Her out to the Farm and a tiny farm community of Easton which I farm in and lived all my life , We attend a local country Catholic church and she was use to attending a large City Baptist church.  She asked one day," what have you done to me"? and OH BTW many who attended  my Church are of Portuguese Descent ,which I am.  She is half Texan & half Oklahoma. which I love Dearly !

Well, I had to do something special for Her , So , Being,  Joe Big spender Portuguese Farmer , Buys Her a Double wide mobile home in a retirement gated community, 15 minute walk to the beach in Pismo Beach and of all things 50% of tenants are retired Portuguese Farmers from the Valley . She says , OH my where are you bringing me too .?

I said ," Love, Your the QUEEN of my double wide !"" There has been a song made for you and my Portuguese retired Farmers from the Valley will look after you when I am gone!"

I Think She may have bought into it ! lol.

Needless to say that song is very current for me !  OH BTW before you think the double wide 15 minutes from beach in Senior community is spendy, We are the PO FOLKS ! One mile North houses with beach view go for up to 3 million.  So, I love my little Double wide ! Trailer trash ,besides we know I am a Deplorable so it all fits !

MTO, not sure if I qualify as a young buck ? My head says yes , My body and the mirror says horrible things about me ! Not sure who to believe !

My Wife drug me to see Sammy Kershaw at Ohiya Casino in Niobrara, Nebraska when we lived up there a few years ago. I'm an 85 model and she is an 89 so we are still young MTO. It was real cold and windy that night( northeast Nebraska what's new ) and Sammy asked if the wind always blew like that. It was a neat concert. Just some chairs set up in a side room. He told several stories between songs. He hates modern country by the way. He used to build Walmart stores before getting a record deal and even went back to it after a slow time in his music career. He seemed like a real down to earth guy. He sang " Its a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and sounded just like him. Needless to say I was glad my Wife drug me there that night.

That is what I thought.....the few of those I did break down and buy back then sure as heck weren't on a cd!

That was back in the days you had to go to a real store to buy that stuff too!  I did look in the mirror tonight, pretty grey looking.......but as my nephew told me, your not an old fart yet, we loaded the spreader 3 times after lunch today from the one pen with pitchforks.

I had a pretty nice tape collection in high school. CD’s had just come out and I didn’t think they would catch on. I didn’t have a Sammy Kerahaw but I did have plenty of others from that time frame.

Store here had a bin that nobody wanted for $1 each.....they few I got came from there, and those were mostly recordings from the 70's, which is why they didn't sell.

Fwiw that song ends up on the playlist of most country bars around here at some point during the night. I mean, what girl wouldn’t get won over by onion rings and some late night TV

Oh man. I’m gonna go ahead and say my wife (girlfriend then) rode around gravel roads many many nights with this song in the CD player. 78 Ford F-250 with a decent little small block 4 speed. Still got it rusting away. Lol. If that song played right now she’d crank it up. I had a alpine amp and 2 10” subs jammed behind the seat for amusement (mainly parties). Among the other songs we liked were Eddie Rabbit, Alabama,Charlie Pride just to name a few. Of coarse we always drank soda and were always home by 9:00 and never ever missed church on Sunday because of it. 😬
