I haven't seen one of those myself. What equipment did they come on ?

Got one but it is going in my d-35. Took it to a fire extinguisher place to have it looked at. You would have thought I had a hand grenade in my hand. He turned white took two steps back and made me promise never to come in there with one of these again. Sounds like it will kill you if you use it. Told me display is OK but never pull the handle and keep out of reach of children.

carbon tetrachloride nasty stuff. I have a couple of them. I don't know if they are empty or not.

I have from dad, he said that it came on 1 of the combines. 303 or 503

Carbon tet turns into phosgene gas when sprayed on a fire.  Puts the fire out great, but can kill you if used in a confined space.  My Dad had one of those on the wall in the shop.  Glad we never had to use it.

Thanks to everyone I found one with bracket and bought it . Its the brass one for my tractor

I used the carbon tet one on a fire in the shop.

No kidding, it is worse than the fire. Totally took my breath away. Glad I could get out into the fresh air, quick.

The fire was easily put out but I learned to not use these ever again.

The guy was right and it is probably illegal to refill one, if he could.

I would insure it is empty, downwind, and hang it on the wall as an ornament only,
