Kind of rare.
Not rare in NJ. Seen quite a few in PA as well
Use to have one like that to pull trailer with Pulling tractor, Had a20000 lb Pto winch behind cab Road hard, but got you their and back.
All of the silo building companies around here had them for crew trucks. A local asphalt sealing outfit has a few. But the Wisconsin road salt has killed the majority in this area. That one looks pretty rust free.
Railroads love them.
Used to see them here in SK, power and other utility companys and, of course, railroads.
1988, S1900 original paint, never winter driven, bought new by a local Silo Builder. Just turned 453,000 kms, have owned it since 2001 (18 years). Powered by the DT466, 210 HP with Eaton 5+2 trans, very nice driving truck
Around arkansas I see them with chicken catching crews. There used to be alot of crew cab loadstars but I expect high scrap prices got most of them. Thx-Ace
The Air Force had a lot of them on their bomber and missile bases. Some were equipped with the DT466 and an automatic transmission.
