Led Lights

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all the replies. My main concern now is somebody told me led lights draw less watts but more amps than regular lights and it will be hard on my alternator. I was always under the impression that led lights were easier on the electrical system. Please shed some light on this before I spend all of my allowance on these things:D.

You can't draw less watts and more amps if the voltage remains constant (in this case 12-14 volts).

Volts x Amps =watts

Less watts  = less amps at 12 volts

Who the heck gave you that advice.......

LEDs are going to draw less than half the amperage of halogens
