Thanks for the checkup....physically i am ok but mentally im not so sure.

Softball and baseball season just came to a close.  It keeps me very busy coaching and trying to be all over the place at the same time.  We had a successful year in travel softball, 2nd in state and 4th at Nationals.  My son moved up a year early as a 6 yr. old to coach pitch and made the all star team as a starting 2nd baseman.

Now im tackeling all sorts of home projects the next couple of weeks until softball and school begins again.

Chris (redneckchevy9) has been pretty busy with his kids baseball and softball. Im sure he will check in sometime. I think hes still keeping his wheels polished and hauling feed.

You are correct...busy is an understatement. Yes still trying to stay shiny

Kids sports are fun but man are they intense. To be good you have to play a lot though. Up here people will travel to mnpls and Milwaukee for junior high travel basketball

At the 8U level for softball, we as an organization try to stay as local as possible...which is 40 min. away for league games and most tournaments.  Des Moines, which is 3hrs away is the furthest we have been, which was for nationals this year.

So it was officially a year ago July 31st that I left the lumber business that I knew for 15 years and jumped into this career at Agri King.  Time sure has flown by, which makes me believe that I made the right decision by accepting my boss wanting me to drive for them.  Of course there are some mundane days where the same road and the same farm grow tiresome, but I still enjoy my job greatly.  Keeping my trucks looking good is important to me as I strive to have one of the best looking straight trucks in the area, but those milk trucks in WI are hard to keep up with.  I have learned that being home 800 more hours a year and not working weekends is way more valuable than making an extra 95 cents/hr.
