Kubota Diesel power Super M

Recommended Posts

I am a junior in high school and have been working on a tractor for my FFA project. I have put a v2203 Kubota diesel into Farmall Super M. I also pit an m&w 9 speed in it out of a Farmall M. I also upgraded the hydraulic system to a 2 spool live system. I am still working on a lot of little things before paint comes, but I wanted to see what you guys thought of it. Feel free to ask questions.0916171607.thumb.jpg.42512c6441283344e130d7e1321f40b5.jpg20180819_134934.thumb.jpg.7b519e1a26986442c9e186a684362912.jpg20180819_135015.thumb.jpg.2b68d37aeb7bb5497d979ec4ceea7721.jpg20180819_135037.thumb.jpg.d5336cf61b5286a53cbca8b305ee5dce.jpg20180819_134926.thumb.jpg.54585bb60d629cc791430913b6e65300.jpg20180819_135100.thumb.jpg.30b7bd10bb34b658a8f7fbacd0ddbd0c.jpg0104181903.thumb.jpg.a16cf40e322b321a8852b1dcaedbfe70.jpg1107172004a.thumb.jpg.08e71e045ec4c70353b253b5571f7e92.jpg1375799.thumb.jpg.dc7e66b525f245cb67196b6c3988fed3.jpg1375596.thumb.jpg.89271d1433e6a23f8d8b237ddc649f28.jpg20180512_130509.thumb.jpg.0e29f7afaa8eee8b76495b0bfd0a9713.jpgI am still working on a lot

That is quite the project you've got there.  It's looking great!  Be sure to post some video of it running when you can.

I bet it's fast. The Kubota runs at 2800RPM. I know you can idle it back but it doesn't put out a lot of power at lower RPMs.

With the 7MPH 4th gear, I'll bet it'll do 10 in the field easy. Nice raking tractor.

It will do 30 mph in 5th gear. The 9 speed put a a grat between 4 and 5 and is about 18 mph. 4th gear is right around 11

A very nice job there young fellow! But please don't use pipe fittings in your hyd. system, they can break and are not rated for more than a few hundred pounds of pressure. I know from experience.
