oldtanker Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 My newest. P80 G19 I built last week. Now I wanna build another! Think maybe a G21 in 45 ACP or a 17. The 19 grip is a bit small for my hands. I put 100 rounds through it yesterday. 15 Hornady 115 grain Critical Defense (just trying em out) 40 115 gr HP's and 45 115 gr ball. The HP and balls were all reloads. HP was Hornady and the balls was Berry's (something a son gave me). All with 6.3 GR of Power Pistol powder. Really couldn't tell one from another. All shot 6 inch groups, standing unsupported, not rapid but not slow fire either. 3-5 seconds between shots. Point of impact was about the same too. I have grown fond of my peep sights on my xdm. I feel like it focuses my vision better. Im super undisciplined when i shoot competitively. I dont lock arms and pivot. Im super sloppy in my form and its cost me trying to get back on target. The peep forces me to pull the gun up and lock in. I usually hate U sights. But the hellkitten seems to work well.
