Mo mule, im sure someone out there has a 2250 and wants to trade up for a 2350. Not many had factory 8 bolt hubs. 756 in the brochure and manuals had 8 bolt hubs though.

Got a call early this morning thinking a telemarketer was starting early or is it late in India? Any ways, nice older man was on the line. Said he saw my local classified ad and was wondering  if i bought parts as well as sold them. Said sure i do. He went on on how he use to farm cotton but sold all his land years ago and now its all built up in houses and strip malls. Said he always used IH. Mentioned he wanted to clean out his old shop and had a few parts. Said he had 2 sets of fenders off the last 2 farmalls he had. Tractors and equipment was long gone. Im thinking great clam shell fenders. Guy had no way of sending pics and i had little to do today so i road tripped it.....and yeah......

Thats a clean 7 for sure.  What is your primary job Mr Long?  It looks to leave you with juuust enough "play" time for ol reds!

I was medically retired from the Marines back in 2010. Served 8 years, 4 combat tours. Was going to enlist for 3rd time but my body was all used up and previous injuries when i was younger started taking it toll and setting in. Navy doc said "marine, your like a double AA battery thats all used up, heres your paper work, enjoy early retirement." And i am. Feel like im 20 years too late in the tractor game though. Looking back i should have been buying trucks and tractors back then but instead i drank enough beer state side to float a battleship. I spent most of my military career over seas and i partied all over the world in true Marine Corp fashion. Came home, sobbered up, got married, had kids, starting buying bigger and bigger toys and cattle here and there.

Thank you for your service. I have several cousins who served in the Millitary. One of them was in Ronald Reagan's color? guard and traveled with him on Air Force One.  Enjoy your retirement years on the farm with your family and red tractors. ?

Also curious about the filter.   My 666 doesn't have the coolant filter.  If you could give us some guidance on that coolant filter, that might be a great add-on (wouldn't have to find an OEM engine to rob)

Looks great!  Did you buy the filter base from NAPA and make your own filter kit? Did you find an IH stamped muffler for it?

Had a 400 series filter base, which i think is same for Germans. Had to buy all the cut offs and fittings. Based plumbing routing on granddads 686 w/D-310. Still havent found an IH stamped muffler for it yet. Also added a bottle of wix coolant conditioner so its 2x covered.

I have a nice set of Firestone 151s 15.5x38s, powdercoated rims and wedgelock wheels i want to try out on this 756. Want to see how those look with the 11L15s and 10.00-16s. Also thinking of 3 sets of split wheel weights painted white.

We have a 706 with 15.5 x 38 rubber.  Look like pizza cutters on the big rear end.  I'd go with 18.4's on 34 or 38 inch rims.  15.5's look best on 656, 544, 560, etc.....too small for anything bigger than a 656 IMHO.

Sleeves looked good. No visible cavitation erosion. Oring on cyl #1 leaking.  Head and valves looked good, bearings looked good and still STD. Mech said this was the 1st time engine had been opened up since it left Farmall works. He was suprised on clean it is. I went by and picked up fuel tank and bracket to power wash while it was still off. Few guys even tried to buy it.

I use goodyear ORTAC hose for oil hoses. $2.75' CIH wants $10' for theirs.
