Field work pics

Recommended Posts

Between picking up the new round baler, working cattle, and a full time job I finally started working ground. I decided to use the 986 and the little chisel plow. It does a real nice job with it. Not too much. Everything here gets pretty hard from all the clay. The last is the 656 the I finished last fall. I never really took a picture of it after I got the genders back on. It’s been in the barn all winter. Getting ready for fertilizing and maybe planting duty. If it doesn’t rain here by Saturday I’ll get the corn all done and I only have a small hand full of beans to plant. Just enough to create a headache and empty pocket book.

Nice pics. Did you plow it first this year or just run the chisel?

Just ran the chisel through it. I actually just finished the last field Thursday night. I have the disc hooked to the 986 now. I’m just pulling a 16’ so it plays with it. I’m not doing that much so what do I care?
