IHKeith
My grampy had a 1655 Cockshutt he bought new, a 1850 Oliver, a 2-85 4x4 and a 2-105, love that over/under. I really like White tractors of the 70s up to the Workhorse models, both in appearance and performance. The later models with cummins engines and ZF front axles were quite a machine. mader656
No use ever but a 525/50 big bud would be really awesome.... Maybe a 20 foot snow blade in the front....
red tractor fever
For me if I were to stray it'd be Allis orange or Oliver/White. Have a neighbor who collects the Orange ones. I've seen his collection. He's got some really cool stuff. And I kinda like the way 1650, 1750, and etc sound. Really run smooth.

I would have a real hard time (given same price and condition) picking between a boxcar magnum and a Ford Genesis. Also would love to have a 7000 (7100 specifically) ford. Powerful yet nimble. bailey6588
I have to admit..... A john deere 4000 with loader gets to bunk in the same barn as the 2+2's....... It was the first tractor I got to drive on my own..... I know, Iknow!!!! lol
IHKeith
I have some love for Fords as well, the styling of an 8600/9600 is pretty cool. Local farm has had an 8600 forever, when I was a kid I liked the look of it especially the wide 23.1x34 tires. My grampy had a 345A 4x4 loader tractor and a 7000 both were good tractors. I think this 7000 that is up for sale on a local site is my grampy’s old tractor.

russ
always been partial to Oliver and IH sadly only IH left are the TD6 and TD9 but got a 990 David Brown and Super 55 Oliver with the 550 for parts. really liked the 1355 and 1655 Olies we had only thing that pulled better was timberjack skidders we used when it was too wet to be in the fields to start with never hooked to anything that 360 timberjack wouldn't pull russ

ChrisNY
Depends on the time frame you are talking and tractor size. Post 1985 it is pretty tough to beat the 8000 and 9000 series Deeres. Pre 85 kinda partial to the Allis series prior to the 7000 series. My first tractor was a 200 and wish I would have kept it some days. 4000 series Deeres are not that bad either. Hey, you asked
