Chad Houses old 1456? Not too many 1456 gold with long axles. Think ive only seen a handful other than mine. I like the idea of one restored ine original to show and compare.

Yes it was. Originally from Ohio I understand.

Good looker!  I kinda like the gold on the battery covers.  Adds a nice touch of your own.  To respect that I will not paint them gold on my 1026, even though I want to.  I think it cool that guys like to do something just a slight bit different to make it your our.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Like I said in the beginning , this one had seen more use than some of the others & therefore took more to get it to this condition but I don’t know of anything that would be considered weak at this point. A year from now the investment will seem irrelevant. I hope?. At least that’s what I tell my wife.

May see a plowday but otherwise a piece of history. We can best show appreciation and respect for our past by bringing it into the future.

10-4  I understand about preserving the past, but I also know that tractor was built to work! :)

Randy ! My eyes are still blinded be those lug bolts on the 26 !

Fantastic Job ,  I had the pleasure of meeting Josh when Danny took me around Pine Island . He sure did a gorgeous job on that girl.

Man , Your going to have an outstanding line up of Goldies in not to much longer, or I should say a more outstanding line up ,because you already do.

I am so interested in your 1456 .  Hope to follow you on here.

There is something about a 1456 that is very hard to keep one's eyes off of.

I love mine and it always seems to be the right touch to brighten the reds around her.

Danny pulled the heck out of her the other day , He and the boys played magic with the pump while I was busy with my others .

Responding to your thought of the pain of restoration is soon forgot ; I can sure attest to that ,everyone I do I fume and fret about money but when its done , the joy makes all else not consequential .

Even the pick up , I was sweating bullets towards the end and my wife was looking at me cross eyed ,when she wrote the checks , and now I asked her the other day when we were driving in it," was it worth it?" She just said its nice I like it .lol.

    Keep us posted on 56

        Enjoy , Tony

I'm with Tony on all the time and money spent on the restoration of these tractors , but the reward is right here in this last picture ?? we had a great time out in California a few weeks ago and feel very honored that Tony let me drive the newly restored IH pickup ?
