I'm curious what that truck has for a power plant. The big split exhaust makes me think maybe an in-line 6 diesel.  I really like that putty color, not a brown, not a gray.  Bed needs some stylish little side boards.  And the bed is WAY to nice to haul more than a cooler and chairs to a tractor show.

The y for the exhaust is coming off the correct side but I would think a 7.3 would be easier to get into the space under one of those old  narrow cabs there was not a lot of room . I do not recall if you could order them with the Bd 308 like the conventional loadstars or if that was too tall I never seen one anyway.

A fellow from Rocky Mount NC that use't to post on the (Renteno) family had a CO Loadstar with a diesel. I don't remember if it was a D-301 or D-354.

I've never peeked under the cab on those CO LoadStar's,  seen under the cab on several CO-190's with RD450's, and a couple Emeryville's but they're WAY bigger. I thought a turbo 7.3 IDI would be a good power plant for something like that. Plugging everything in on a 7.3 PSD makes them not popular as engine swap candidates.

I watched Mecum Tractor Auction from Davenport yesterday,  they sold a custom repowered 560 with a naturally aspirated 7.3 IDI,  lots and lots and lots of Chrome!  Guy's Father-in-Law must have owned a chrome shop, anything IH painted white was chrome, and then all kinds of small parts also chrome.  Looked kinda like an early prototype for a 1468!   Sold for $25,000,  took a while but got there.  The craftsmanship rivaled this truck.
