So.... I just thought I'd update my thread.  1486 #2 got the oil changed, hydraulic filter, water filter etc all changed.   The plan is to put the loader I bought on it just haven't had a chance yet with some help.

On a good note I had borrowed 15K to add to what I had to purchase the Magnum.  I paid it off last day of the month which made it exactly one year from borrowing the funds.  I hadn't ever borrowed money to buy a toy before but I am glad I did.  That Magnum is a nice tractor to operate and I hope to have it for years to come.  As much as I like my 86 series tractors the Magnum makes me consider selling all of them and finding another Magnum! :)

Did I mention I like the Magnum?

We now have 2 magnums and shutter the thought of selling the 1086. Course the 10 carries a great degree of sentiment, but still a very useful tractor and highly reliable

Keep the 1086!  Just cause if for no other reason.

1486 #2 is on silage feeder duty this winter.  You don't get muddy when you stomp down the silage if you park the step right next to feeder!

Added pitch fork for next go round lol

A bit curious why you needed another loader to put your loader on the 186....not a quick attach?

I misread your question! :)  I was justifying why I needed another loader! LOL

Where the stands attach to the crossover bar on the loader had been torn some so they did not hold the loader upright like they were supposed too.  That and the hydraulic hose for lift was damaged and wouldn't allow us to operate the loader, so it was just easier that way.   The Bush Hog Loader is quick attach to the tractors and the bucket is too so once I get the stand attach points fixed and the new hoses it should be much easier to install in the future.

Gotcha. Looks like it will be a pretty nice loader once you get the bugs worked out.

Seems like all my tractors are junk.....   So you need a backup to the backup in case the primary loader tractor goes down, and then your backup takes a crap on you as well! :)

I was all on the get another magnum but it's broke right now too.... Seems a hydraulic hose under the cab let loose.

Goes back to my theory of needing backups! :)

Picked up 4 more of the flame cut weights.  I now have 18 which I think makes a full rack.  I weighed one at work on our annually certified scales and got 71lbs so I think it's safe to call them 70 if anyone was interested.

I agree. 16 on there and the bracket is full. There were 10 hole IH brackets and 12 hole IH brackets I think. That could be the difference possibly?

I forgot there were two different brackets.

I need to research what year(s) these were available so I put them on the “correct” tractor ?

I’m just saying because this has 16 and you saw 18 doesn’t make either way wrong necessarily. Your machines, stack weights however you like.
