THE WORLD IS RUNNING OUT OF SAND

http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/05/29/the-world-is-running-out-of-sand

Quote

In 2014, the United Nations Environment Programme published a report titled “Sand, Rarer Than One Thinks,” which concluded that the mining of sand and gravel “greatly exceeds natural renewal rates” and that “the amount being mined is increasing exponentially, mainly as a result of rapid economic growth in Asia.”

BUT, one of the country's leading purveyors of FAKE 'news' brought it to the attention of the world first.

Obviously, they had never watched this, as it would be too 'low-brow' for their intellectual tastes.

We've got loads of sand... just not what they prefer, but still perfectly usable. Just the latest panic they want to induce. I wonder how many of the writers and editors live in concrete jungles?

This goes without saying, as was written, their main concern was the limited supply of quality sand for "beach volleyball".

BTW, your comment would have been better written and more truthful had it said "where the lgbt folks love the Islamic extremists".
