Thought you looked like the guy I talked to a couple of weeks ago when getting combine parts.

Tractor looks very sharp!   This quote rang home with me too.  Last month you drug me around tracking down some parts for my 1026.  Always nice to put 2 and 2 together.

Always glad to help my customers find what they are looking for.  Best part of my job.

I had originally planned to leave this tractor as a narrow front on the skinny 15" rims I used on the wide front. Then, my boss offered this clean wide front for the project. I changed my plan.  The narrow front is going under another tractor that has a junk Speeco under it.

This project was sidelined a few months. So much humidity and rain this summer have kept me from painting the hood. Decided to shine it up and take it in for Ag Appreciation Day in Grinnell yesterday. Ran great and looked respectable. 20180830_121850.thumb.jpg.dcc161c68db01abdd0fcc4185898516e.jpg

Looks great Aaron!

The very first tractor I worked on in ag mechanics school years ago was a 656 gas WF - new clutch, manifold work and something else I have forgotten after 38 years...
