Dull day, no sunshine, looks like winter is coming - so we picked the last row with the 404 on 1PR picker and flare box. Good to feed the squirrels and birds this winter, - sure would like to go back 40 years, put the  heat houser on to the tractor and pick all week and fill the corn crib

Would you be interested in hooking that 606 up to my #82 pull type next summer in Ridgetown to harvest some wheat? I going to pull a picker with probably an H, maybe the M..have lots of time to figure that out. I don't think your too far away and might want to play.

Sure thing, I think we could arrange for a good day - or maybe weekend show

What direction from Bothwell are you? I thought Bothwell was all Green Weenie country from what my in laws say. They are south east of Bothwell. Just curious.

Our 9 Grandkids, #10 was not born yet, all fit into the 1/2 scale flare box at one time not anymore, next we will try the full size flare box. I think we can fill it after 9 years growing older.

Our 1958  240U. We are the 3rd owner, has 1504 original hrs - factory IH, 3 point hitch, dual remotes, power steering, PTO, I think every option available when new. Just putting him in the other barn for the winter. The cab is from a 275 windrower, just narrowed it down and altered doors and glass to fit.

Pic of the IH 3 point hitch. We've owned this little tractor since 1970

Hello to All Red Power Friends

Here's a picture of the East Moline Works, International Harvester Company on the Mississippi River at East Moline, Illinois - in 1970 this was one of the Worlds largest farm equipment plants on 48 acres and more than 2 million square feet under one roof. Principal products manufactured included Combines, Corn Pickers, Corn heads for Combines, Forage Harvesters and fast hitches for tractors, average employment 3000 workers, annual pay roll $30 million. World Wide Export. I was fortunate to be on this tour with Zehr Bros. of New Hamburg, Ont. the dealers I worked for, so sit back and relax. I will show you how we got there and a bit of what went on inside

Really enjoy seeing your equipment in the field working !

I remember well the first time I drove a 91 IHC combine at a pretty young age. I was trying to negotiate a curve in the road to the field where we were going to start combining. I ended up doing a 360 right in the middle of the road.

We had a couple of 151 combines after that, and later on a 403 and a 503.

I'm ready for a great story, leaned back in my recliner and comfortable. Have greatly enjoyed your thread so far so I'm looking forward to this.
