Theres 17 1206's on tractor house currently if you need those serial numbers. 1 is regular but factory non 3pt hitch. 5 are wheatlands.

Thanks, I cruise through there once in awhile and check them. It gets hard to document them all during harvest, planting and busy times. Auctiontime is another good place to find them.

I have 1966 1206 serial # 9084 here in Bruno, Nebraska. I use it all the time shredding and blading snow. Inside is all restored, now just needs paint. 2 hydraulic outlets. Has the T.A.  Square original white fenders. Even the right side fender without the hole cut in it.

Got a question I've had for a few years now. It is a row crop tractor with INTERNATIONAL emblems on it. I thought they were wrong as was going to pull them off and put Farmall ones on but then a friend of mine who also has a 1967  1206 found in a magazine article a breakdown of serial numbers that actually showed they made a few INTERNATIONAL row crop tractors. And my serial # fell exactly into them.  I believe Serial 9090 they went back to Farmall. Anyone have any information? Thanks

I was always under the impression that the "standard" or "wheatland " machines were the only ones to wear the "International " badges.  Hopefully Red Reaper will see this. He is the 1206 guru.

On the serial number tag it should say either F1206 or I1206. If its a F than its a Farmall. I is International.

It should say Farmall as long as it says F1206 on the serial tag. The reason 9090 comes up is that's the last International 1206 made.  I did not have 9084 listed, but did have previous in line 9083 listed in Chambersburg PA. Thank you for posting it! If you want to message me your name for the registry, I'll add it on, thanks

1206 serial number 15742, 161 from the last one made, purchased new in 1967 by my grandfather Harlow Blunier, Roanoke, IL from Leman Implement Co., Eureka IL.  Got a good deal, as the 1256's were already being advertised and delivered when he bought it.  Originally wore an ice cream box cab and larger front tires.  Traded in 1975 on a 1466.  1206 was subsequently sold used to Kern Farms, Eureka.  Front weights bought with 1206 are still on our 1486!!!!

I found it on Reed's lot (after some tips from a local collector) and took some photos in 2011 (wasn't for sale then).

My uncle Alan Haas of Roanoke, IL recently purchased the tractor to get it back in the family, was part of the Reed Farms collection (Reed Implement, Henry IL)

2011 photos with 24.5x32 rubber and ROPS, 2019 photo on trailer with 18.4x38, 1466 he traded for.....(note the 1206 front rims and tires on 1466...1466 was a year old and used to road manure spreaders, so grandpa kept his 1206 fronts because of the road wear on the 1466 tri-ribs)

Bought a few combines from Read’s when they were in business, good people.

One if their main salesman,  Ed Leman, used to work with dad in Eureka at Leman Imp.  When Loren Leman closed the doors a few years after the merger, dad went to Rothrocks (now Stollers) in Minonk, and Ed went to Reads in Henry.

There's a crazy lady east of me that has a 1206 that's been sitting in a barn since the '80s it was her husbands and he passed several years ago so if anyone asks her about it she goes full ghetto lunatic....... she thinks its worth a million dollars an is afraid somebody is actually going to break in-spend 3 days moving stuff to get to it.....and steal it. I had a friend that  knew her ask to see it to get the serial number off it when I was searching for my grandpas 1206........big mistake!

I have the 1206 that rolled off the line 24 tractors before yours (15718).  I bought it and restored it,  but have know idea about it's history.  It's nice when they have a family history to go along with them.

Mark did you put the 34" wedgelocks on there after you bought it or where they on the 1206 when you got it? Be interesting to see if they are legit original 34" 1206 wedgelocks with an August '67 casting code.

They were on it when I got it.

Also,  it's funny you asked me this because I've wondered about it too.    I just asked Jerry Mez (Farmall Land) this past week if he thought some 12-0's were shipped with wedgelock wheels and he said yes....said they were an option.

I figured he knows as much as anyone.  Also,  they are listed in the parts book.
