nepoweshiekfarmalls
They are dairy farmers....... Does that help to explain the condition? We have a couple of newer tractors of theirs in salvage at work that they had wore out!

RCC
#9624 is on life support in Glenwood, IA. I’m new to this forum but not new to Farmall tractors. My dad has a 1206 that he bought off of my great uncles farm sale about 15 years ago. The front axel has been broken a few times. Plenty of steep ground and sharp ditches in this neighborhood especially with two rear wheel weights bolted to the front. My dad put a “Year-A-Round” cab on it that will be coming off when we start restoration this fall. TA and PTO are out but it did run well the last time it ran. I believe the original owner was my great uncles neighbor right here in SW Iowa. Still working on those details. This will be our first refurbishment. Have an H, 504, 560D, 656, 706D, and 1066 that hopefully will get face lifts after that.

Arley Cranston
I’ve been cleaning up my in laws farm in the Fort St John BC area and there is a 1206 International tractor SN 8921 s-y. It was running when parked a few years ago and I plan to get it going to sell. It came from Lloydminister Saskatchewan area in the mid 1980’s. I stumbled across this site when doing some research hope this information is helpful.

searcyfarms
I swung by my cousins today, forgot my phone ugh...........so no pictures, he has had his 1206 since 1979, he bought it from a dealer in iowa but only because it was traded in there. The tractor was owned by the johnsons in maysville/osborn Missouri area. I think that is what he said was their names - he wasn't sure who they got it from or if it was an original Missouri tractor. The johnsons traded it in on a new tractor and he dropped by to see the johnsons and saw it was missing so he asked them about it and got the info from them where they had traded it in at. He drove straight to iowa and bought it. He said its been a very good tractor, the broken axle i told you about already and one injector pump rebuild, i didnt ask how many hours he has on it. Its chromed out.........chrome lower hood trim and front chrome side piece that runs from the top down to the 1206 emblem. Still looks pretty respectable for its age. It has 20 inch tires on it with rims that have been spliced/added in to fit the wide tires, they are filled with fluid he said. The s/n is 10024. Redkyboy
We have serial number 15442 here in Eubank Kentucky. Has almost 9,000 hours and a year round cab. Had a solar turbo. (Seen some people list that didn't know if it mattered). My grandpa bought in the 80's in campbellsville, Ky from Stanley mccubbin and sons tractor. It came with a 806 grill and the white cast part on front painted red to match the grill. Has a big white light on each side panels by the radiator. Thought someone might recognize it with those weird details. There's currently a 1206 for sale in Benton Ky. Serial number 11566 and looks to have a hiniker cab. I know of like 4 more 1206s around here. When we went to fort Smith Arkansas like 7 years ago to pick up some eBay tractor purchases that guy had a burnt to nothing 1206. Thank you, I had 15442 listed as being in Kansas or Missouri, given to me by Brian Long Farms on here, think they guy's email was Deeredevil1@yahoo.com So if you have had it since the 80's, that may be a mistake, closest was 15449 in Maine. I got a little excited when you posted 11566, as my dad's was 11596 and still missing. I did not have it listed, closest was 11564 in Onega Kansas Thanks for the report. You can PM me your name and town if you like to update your grandpa's tractor.
