Over a year ago I ran a thread on sawmill suggestions. Dad had not been diagnosed with cancer yet, I had not blown myself up yet... a lot has happened since he put the order in for his Woodmizer LT15wide.
It finally made it to the dealer, we finally got over to Wisconsin to get it, and I finally finished putting it together yesterday. This is just in time as dad probably doesn't have much time left in this world.
Set it up and made the first cuts this afternoon. It was my first time as a sawyer, so I have no clue as to if it really was working sweet, but it sure seemed to cut nice. As much as he wished to run it himself, it certainly made dad's day to hear and see it in action.
