So I went to add an endorsement to my license today and did so successfully. i have the remainder of a year on my permit, so i am “grandfathered in” but once my permit runs out if i wish to add an endorsement, like 5th wheel, school bus or Hazmat, even though i already am a CDL licensed driver, i have to go through the same School as new drivers…i feel like this is getting ridiculous. My understanding is that this will be nationwide.
