On December 28th, 2019, I finally was able to bring back a 1256 to the farm. The 1256 that dad had was sold in 1986 and is currently being used locally. Lots of memories on the fender of a 1256. Dad knew of this 1256 so after a few years was able to get it bought. I am now the 3rd owner. The tractor sat for a long time - some figure 25 years+. Most would say it was not worth saving but a 1256 was on my bucket list and this made it even more of a challenge, yet appreciate the final project even more.
