Yeah, I know, it’s an oil thread.... But..... What variety of 2 cycle oil do you gentlemen like to use? The reason I ask is that for years we have used Tanaka Perfect Mix at a 50:1 ratio because that’s what the logger and saw shop owner we dealt with recommended. Evidently the Tanaka is discontinued so I need a new mix oil and my saw shop owner passed away so I can’t ask him. I have used the Stihl baby bottles and quite frankly do not like them at all. Color is different when mixed (brown, not blue) and with no scientific explanation, I just don’t like the way that my stuff runs on it. If it works fo you, that is fine. what other options do you folks have real world experience with? Anything stand out?
