The MRS A-80 all wheel drive

Last weekend while going to get hog feed in the next town over dad and I spotted this tractor sitting in a lot. I didn’t get out to look over it but I did manage to get a couple pics. I did some research on this brand of tractors and they started manufacturing tractors that could be mounted with scrapers in about 1943. They went out of business in the late 70’s with most tractors seeing their working life in Vietnam. IH signed a three year contract in 1971 with MRS to build their 4wds such as the 4166 and other models that never went in production and the contract was later dropped. I did find an article on these tractors several years back on the construction forum by Harold H. and he gave some very interesting history behind these unique tractors.
