  1. I am still far away from starting the barn build but I have been gathering things when I have extra time. I got a DMI wagon gear for making a flatbed for wood moving around the sawmill. I am hoping to get the second building foundation set up to be able to pour both in the same day. I am putting a 24x60 shed up for my tractor stuff that I am getting free from a neighbor. I figure to get that up for storing the beams as I cut them and cut the mortice and tennons in there out of the weather. I sawed two ash logs tonight in the rain to make the beams for the wagon. Now I will get hardware and then saw the floor boards for it . This is going to be dragged out as I am busy or worse all the time ?. I just thought I should start putting some of this down so I don't forget to document it. I have been watching some videos on YouTube mainly "the tradesman channel" to get a grasp of the necessary knowledge and tools . Last two pictures of a dead tree I cut down, maybe butternut or walnut?
